Could you live in a Dome on a remote island for 8 months with 6 strangers? Why do you think so?

On the Big Island of Hawaii on Mauna Loa a Dome has been built in which 6 scientists will live and try to simulate life on Mars. If invited to do so would you join them or is that the last thing you'd want to do? Do you get claustrophobic? It's sponsored by NASA of course. I dunno. Doesn't appeal to me at all. Does it appeal to thee?

  • It would have to be six of the most interesting people you could imagine, or such an endeavor would push me over the brink. The idea of living under a dome isn't too appetizing either. I suppose that if you knew that the dome was protecting your life it would be different, but it would be hard to accept that mindset on earth where you understand that a dome really isn't necessary and the world is outside.
